Marjorie Corbin

Realtor

I moved to Charleston in 2011 in pursuit of higher education and a better, more fulfilling quality of life. As a South Carolina native and lover of southern culture, I am no stranger to hospitality, integrity, hard work, and genuine character. It is truly the people I have met, the relationships I have sustained, and the connections I have made in Charleston that have made this city feel like a forever home.

I graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in the Spring of 2018, all while receiving education and licensing in Real Estate. It’s no secret that I like to keep busy with an ever changing schedule filled with an array of hobbies including horseback riding, yoga, and my passion for a healthy lifestyle. That’s what I love about working in Real Estate; no two days are the same, which keeps me on my toes. I LOVE the hustle!

Alongside my personal and professional endeavors, I hold dear my relationships with life-long friends and new clients alike. As a passionate and ambitious professional, I am committed to bringing my values and hard work as a Realtor, whether you are looking to buy your first home, sell your property, or invest in a larger portfolio. My sales experience includes off market transactions, investment opportunities, residential single family/multi-family, new construction, vacant land, as well as commercial leases and sales.

    Get to know Marjorie Corbin

    • What I did before Real Estate:

Before Real Estate I was a bartender at Stars Rooftop & Grill Room for 8 years. Working as a bartender contributed greatly to my work ethic today.

    • My Real Estate Specialty:

I specialize in finding off market opportunities, specifically investment properties in the STR zone downtown.

    • What my clients say about me/why my clients choose to work with me:

My clients will say that my work ethic is absolutely insane and borderline concerning. My clients choose to work with me because they know I will do any and everything in my power to get the deal closed.

    • What I love about Smith Spencer Real Estate:

What I love most about Smith Spencer Real Estate is our environment dedicated to female empowerment as well as our level of quality service to our clients. Knowing our sole purpose is dedicated to serving our clients at the most superior level possible is what gravitated me to Smith Spencer. My personal and professional relationships as well as integrity towards others is what I pride myself on. Therefore, it is no surprise that I would become a member of a brokerage that embodies those characteristics.

    • What I love about Charleston:

LOL, that’s a loaded question. What I love most about Charleston is the genuineness of the locals. One thing you always hear about Charleston is “the people are so friendly here” and there’s a lot of truth to that statement. It’s almost as if the entire city follows the Golden Rule. I find it extremely refreshing that more often than not there is a high level of respect and integrity that is reciprocated amongst others. I find that type of environment invaluable and I am grateful to live in the 843!
