Lauren Delamater

Realtor®

I live in Mount Pleasant with my husband and three kids. We moved here from the Chicago area 10 years ago and couldn’t love this area more. I’ve been in real estate since 2017 and love everything about it. I hope that one or more of my kids works alongside me someday! I come from a background of entrepreneurship and have started several businesses over the last 15 years. The different skills I have picked up along the way in those different industries has allowed me to create a unique and specialized real estate experience for my clients. As a family we love to travel, surf, and enjoy this beautiful city that we live in.

    • What I did before Real Estate:

I’ve always been an entrepreneur and started my first business at 19. I’ve owned a wedding planning and design company, a cafe, and a special event rentals business. I love everything about entrepreneurship – the hustle and dedication, and the pride that comes with working hard to create a quality service for clients. Every client, no matter how big or small the price point, is an integral part of my business and I take a lot of pride in guiding them and educating them throughout the buying and selling process and ensuring it is as smooth as possible.

    • My Real Estate Specialty:

I work with both sellers and buyers in the greater Charleston area. I love helping families get into their dream home and showing people how to use real estate to achieve financial goals. Real estate is incredibly personal and I don’t take it lightly when someone chooses to work with me. It is an honor to be a part of helping people buy and sell some of the biggest assets they will own and I am passionate about making it the easiest, best experience possible.

    • What my clients say about me/why my clients choose to work with me:

I think my clients would say that I genuinely care about them and making their real estate goals a success. I will happily work early in the morning or late at night to accommodate different work schedules and scenarios. I love hearing everyone’s unique story. Tell me all about your job, your kids, grandkids, your knee replacement…I want to hear it all!

    • What I love about Smith Spencer Real Estate:

Where to start! The women on this team are all incredibly inspiring and each has their own area of expertise that I can learn from. Stacy and Erin have both accomplished so much in business and in the real estate world, it’s a pleasure to learn from them every day and I am constantly learning new ways to elevate my business by being around them. You are who you surround yourself with and this is a phenomenal group!

    • What I love about Charleston:

It is such a charming city. The history is everywhere which makes even the most mundane daily tasks more exciting. Walking into a meeting on the cobblestone streets downtown where a horse drawn carriage traveled 200 years ago?! Incredible! And where else can you live that has the ocean, wonderful schools, world class dining, entertainment, and shopping all minutes away?
