I moved to Charleston 9 years ago from Charlotte NC. After attending College of Charleston, I have always been drawn to the area. My husband is a sailor, and loves boating, so it was easy to convince him to move back to the low country. We found perfect schools for our two daughters in Sullivan’s Island elementary, and later Charleston Collegiate School on John’s island and Ashley Hall located downtown.  Our girls love it here! My career was in software training before having kids, but during the process of buying and selling homes for ourselves and as investments, I fell in love with the joy of finding the perfect home.

My favorite aspect of our business is to learn what makes a certain area or neighborhood special, and match that to my client’s needs. I believe this is a business of personal connections, and that’s why Smith Spencer is perfect for me. It’s just the right size combined with the best real estate professionals  in the business to offer superior support to my clients, and still offer a uniquely personal experience.

When I’m not spending time with clients, I’m walking my dogs Hinckley and Reggie in I’on, cooking in or dining out with friends, or taking in all of the glorious beauty that the low country provides!!

    • What I did before Real Estate:

Before Real Estate, I was a stay at home mom raising two beautiful and accomplished young women!! Before the girls I organized sales training rollouts for global companies.

    • My Real Estate Specialty:

I spend time with my clients to get to know their journey and what they are ultimately looking for. While I live in Ion in Mt. Pleasant, I have driven the roads from Sullivan’s Island through downtown and through James Island and John’s Island for years, taking kids to school and soccer, etc. I have seen the changes and I know the schools and the amenities available in all of these areas. I can help families relocating here as I did 9 years ago.

    • What my clients say about me/why my clients choose to work with me:

My clients know that they can trust that I will do my absolute best to get them to the outcome they want. They know I will be honest with them and that they in turn can be honest with me.

    • What I love about Smith Spencer Real Estate:

I love the support and encouragement I get from talented women in the Real Estate Industry. The stand out message that I have heard over and over in stories told in team meetings and training sessions is “just do the right thing”! That’s who we are at Smith Spencer.

    • What I love about Charleston:

I love that big town feel of this small town. You can be on the beach in the afternoon and then downtown for dinner. There is so much going on in the business world as well as small theater and cutting edge farm to table restaurants. The growth on John’s Island with sustainable farming, amazing food, gorgeous neighborhoods and wonderful schools is also a big deal to me.
