The real estate industry can be rough, but I was lucky enough to find "the diamond in the rough" in Cynthia Wheeler. She was the ultimate professional, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and most importantly, trustworthy. I was instantly comfortable with her sincerity, which facilitated a very good seller/agent scenario. She walked me through the paperwork with is no easy task for this 74-year old. Every questions was answered thoroughly, but especially with respect and promptness. I was amazed at the speed of her getting things to me: contract, agreement, buyers' offers and closing information. I would recommend Cynthia to anyone selling/buying in the Charleston area. She is a diamond with a high refractive index...meaning every facet of her shines.

Cynthia made buying a house in the Charleston area the easiest part of our move. We moved from UT to SC and as you can imagine a cross country move has a lot of moving pieces and headaches. With our tight timeline due to my wife's new job we only had one weekend of flying into town to look at houses and hopefully find one worth purchasing. Cynthia made it an absolute joy by helping us to focus on areas and homes that had what we were looking for all while answering questions and providing suggestions. On top of all of this she helped us get to know Charleston and what to expect when living here as well as, organizing and getting us resources such as painters. If you are planning on purchasing a home in the Charleston area you NEED Cynthia!!

Cynthia Wheeler

Realtor®, Office Queen

I moved to Charleston in 2010 from North Carolina when my husband, Jason, and I relocated for work. I began my career in real estate in February 2014 when I became an assistant to a top producing agent on Daniel Island. Shortly after, I got my RE license and my daughter, Marley, was born in May 2015. I decided to take some time off to raise my daughter but in early 2018, Stacy and Erin reached out to me in need of an Office Queen! I was ready to get back to work so here I am, loving every minute. We love taking long walks with our dog, Pepper, dining out and enjoying the city!

    Get to know Cynthia Wheeler

    • What I did before Real Estate:

I was a billing and insurance manager at a doctors office then spent 7 years in cell phone sales. Both of those positions taught me organization, communication skills and most importantly gave me the confidence to figure things out for myself!

    • My Real Estate Specialty:

I would say my specialty more pertains to keeping our agents organized and driven to help their buyers and sellers achieve their RE goals. This translates into my own deals.

    • What my clients say about me/why my clients choose to work with me:

My clients say that I am determined and assertive. They like to work with me because I make the process easy on them.

    • What I love about Smith Spencer Real Estate:

I love our team. Every person I work with motivates me to be a better person.

    • What I love about Charleston:

Even though Charleston has grown so much since I moved here, I still think the city offers a small town vibe. I love the beaches and restaurants.
